A joint venture between illuminated spirits/residents of Montgomery, AL & Brooklyn, NY - the CaseQuarter label was established to document and make available gospel / sacred recordings of the Southern U.S., both contemporary & historical.

Launched in very hot August 2003 with the widely acclaimed Reverend Charlie Jackson archival collection, God's Got It, the mission continued strong with the debut solo recordings of brother Isaiah Owens & the recording debut of The Spiritualaires of Hurtsboro, AL. The dawn of 2009 saw the mightily delivered Elder Utah Smith Book+CD project. These are the total exceptional works released to date; each of them feature captivating and singular electric guitar accompaniment. 

CaseQuarter producer Kevin Nutt continues to share a very deep aficionado's passion for gospel music on his Sinner's Crossroads program, broadcast by the world's greatest radio station, WFMU, every Thursday night from  8:00–9:00pm ET at 91.1 FM in NJ/NYC & wfmu.org worldwide.
