YES :-)
This is a top-shelf multi-track recording & mix of the first time that William Parker & Hamid Drake performed a duo concert. It took place at the original (spacious) AUM Fidelity HQ in Brooklyn on a beautiful Saturday evening into night, April 1, 2000.

It is here in its entirety (88min), except for my intro/preamble in which I asked audience to please hold applause until the conclusion of concert because "we are recording this communion".

Cover art here features a scan of the handbill/ticket for the concert. The info pointed & plainly stated. Printed 80 (room capacity) of those at the great 7th Avenue Copy shop just around the corner – 8 per card-stock sheet & cleanly cut by the great folks there. Everyone showed up, and then more; alas the latecomers had to stay downstairs shooting pool & listening through the ceiling.

I will not write on how tremendous the concert was, because your ears can bring you there now. I will state that it was wholly Holy in the room that night.

I arranged the concert in order to "warm things up" (haha!), for the studio session which began 36 hours later on Monday morning, toward the album Piercing The Veil.

This is the first digital (or otherwise) release of the full concert since the 2CD set: 'First Communion + Piercing The Veil : volume 1 complete' released in 2007; itself being a deluxe re-issue of Piercing The Veil, which originally came out on CD in 2001.
