That process was a joy from jump.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring the time just prior to and following its release, I spent countless hours listening to bass works which Devra had put up on her Bandcamp page. That listening always offered a calm, sonically embracing space that proved a solace from the turbulence \u0026amp; unabated ugliness on rampant display in the outside world; especially since fascism became the way in this country. Listening to these beautiful works was a centering experience for me as well – offering a sonic center from the imbalance and turmoil prevalent in my personal life at that time, too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is the nexus of that bountiful work which is presented here anew on \u003cem\u003eBaile as Baile\u003c\/em\u003e, and I do consider it a priceless gem.
